Contest–Describe Your Female Model...
Share your model of strength and grace as a comment on this post. I will work with a team of colleagues to pick the top three submissions to win a copy of Wander Woman: How High-Achieving Women Find Contentment and Direction. I will also feature the winning submissions in an upcoming Huffington Post Blog.
What’s your cause?
Instead of writing goals this year, can you define your cause? Goals create actions which might have an effect. Causes create effects, making the goals that arise more fluid, adaptable and meaningful.

Really…women are less happy?
There has been a lot of press around the research that prompted Marcus Buckingham's latest book, Find Your Strongest Life: What the Happiest and Most Successful Women do Differently. The studies declare women to be less happier than they were 40 years ago.
Really, less happy than my mother? I don't think so.

I'll share pieces of the pages with you as I go along. I know I'll use some of these posts. Please comment whenever you feel the urge when share thoughts with you; I could use your insights.
Thank you for your support.

While hiking, when I am in front I tend to hike at a fast clip, maybe too fast since I'm pretty
Time to be recognized
Thank you to all the coaches who showed up in my session at the ICF conference to hear about my research on the current generation of high achieving women in the workplace. My heart pumped wildly as over 200 women raised their hand declaring they are a part of this somewhat misunderstood and mostly mismanaged generation. When I defined who they are and how they differ from the generation of
The Mind of a Woman
This blog post is not intended to offend anyone. If your political views differ from mine, please know that I honor your informed choice and love that we live in a country that gives a voice to differing opinions, ideologies, and religious views (though sadly, this seems questionable at times, especially in the last decade). Please post your views even if you disagree. I love an intelligent argument.
