A Note from a Friend
I received this email today from a friend and colleague in Italy in honor of International Women’s Day:
“This brief note wants just to point out that the real richness of any team is the presence of different kind of People inside.
Different points of view, backgrounds, ethnicity, sex, census, orientations and so on are there to enrich the team and their performance, in whatever field it may be.
The real breakthrough moment in teams is when People start to leverage on intragroup diversities, letting go of ego struggles and stereotypes.
In all excellent performing teams I have worked with in my life, many and very different Women are essential; from happy families, to happy local communities, to prosperous business and top governmental teams.
This is to express my utmost gratitude to Them.
